Types of Massage:
Foot Reflexology
Foot Reflexology is massage applied to the feet where each part of the body is connected through the nervous system to specific reflex points or meridians on the feet. Reflexologists massage these points with the thumb to clear the energy pathways to the organs and to help the body heal itself by reducing stress and releasing endorphins.
Deep Tissue Massage
Deep Tissue Massage involves manipulating the deep layers of tissue in the body, including the fascia and other supporting tissues that make up the muscles and joints. Compared to other popular massage techniques – (including Swedish massage or acupressure, which tend to be lighter in pressure and may involve body movement in certain positions) - deep tissue massage is usually slower and firmer.
Lymphatic Drainage
Your lymphatic system helps eliminate your body's waste. A healthy, active lymphatic system uses the natural movements of smooth muscle tissue to attain this.
