Chiropractic Physician

Dr. Majewski received his doctorate of chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA and a B.S. in animal science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He is a native cape codder who grew up in yarmouthport and to this day enjoys all the cape has to offer. While at Palmer College Dr. Majewski took advantage of the many technique seminars offered including activator methods, applied kinesiology, which can effectively be used for nutritional diagnostic testing, and a variety of other techniques. Flexion-distraction and spinal decompression therapy are very effective treatments for many post-surgical patients, intervertebral disc herniation and degenerative disorders, spinal stenosis, facet syndrome, sciatica, and is a safe and comfortable alternative to surgery.

Among these early on in his education he discovered DNFT, which is the method he enjoys using today. The following is an excerpt from DNFTchiropractic.com " Directional Non-Force Technique® Chiropractic is the original low force method of chiropractic that utilizes a unique system of subluxation analysis and correction. Testing for subluxation analysis consisting of a gentle, specific challenge followed by the proprietary D.N.F.T.® Reactive Leg Reflex™ check. This allows the body’s reaction to the test to indicate the locations and directions of misaligned structures that are producing nerve interference. A low force and directionally specific thumb impulse correction provides long lasting alignment and balance to bony and soft tissue structures. D.N.F.T.® Chiropractic protocols are able to achieve these corrections without the torque, stronger force, and associated articular sounds that are often associated with traditional chiropractic. " The DNFT approach gives you a very effective adjustment and is beneficial for all patients tall or small, young or old. Whether you are an elite athlete or not quite at peak performance anymore it can help to improve all aspects of life!
