Reiki

Reiki is an ancient healing technique used for relaxation and stress reduction. Reiki promotes healing by stimulating the immune system and is thought to help relieve physical and emotional symptoms.
Reiki is safe, noninvasive, and can be administered to people of all ages. The practitioner serves as a conduit for “life force energy” that flows through the energy pathways of the body. Practitioners believe that this energy nourishes cells and organs of the body.
There are many Reiki courses offered throughout the world.

The client is fully clothed and lies on table. Reiki is administered by the practitioner placing her/his hands on or above various parts of the body.
Reiki may initially cause and emotional release (such as laughter and crying), gastric upset, mild nausea, diarrhea, headaches and/or tingling sensation. These reactions are usually temporary and considered part of the healing process.
