Kelsey Gray received her bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from the University of Maine and Masters in Social Work from Boston University. She has worked for the past ten years in addiction medicine as well as conditions of mental health.
She is a strengths-based therapist who takes a holistic approach when working with people in any season of life and on a variety of challenges. Making the decision to seek therapy is a vulnerable and sometimes difficult step. Finding the right fit is crucial and she openly explores this using a non-judgmental approach with potential clients in establishing a working relationship.
Main areas of focus are anxiety, panic, phobias, depression, mood management, trauma, women’s issues, substance abuse and co-dependency. She is certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) which is a powerful tool for anxiety, phobias and depression. In addition, she holds Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Level I and II training for the treatment of trauma.
Kelsey integrates CBT, Mindfulness, Harm Reduction, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma Informed Care, spirituality, energy healing and art/expressive therapy interventions to elicit profound change.
